General Experience

Currently, I am enrolled as a freshman at Penn State University the Capitol College, pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. Alongside my major, I will be minoring in marketing or marketing science. Together, my education in these fields will help myself become a well-rounded leader in project management.

When I was thirteen I knew I wanted to pursue a career in engineering. The generalized path soon became a thought out intricate plan that incorporated a passion to sell and design. Throughout my high school career, I have received a certificate in Adobe Photoshop. My experience includes being secretary of a dance company. I have Varsity cheerleading experience of three years and one year of college levels.

My diverse dance career has allowed me to explore and advertise for myself, others, and the company. I was in charge of managing events at the dance company. I’ve learned that organization and first impressions are the key to success. The use of a mathematical and artistic perspective could help deliver unique ideas to engineering design.

Dance Experience

The beginning of my career was at Dolly Haltzman Dance Academy in Emmaus and Kuhnsville, PA. This was a ballet academy that I attended for 9 years. This company gave me the foundation of my dance career.

In Junior High I started with a smaller competition company, East Coast Dance Connection. This company provided me the opportunity to learn how to perform in a competitive nature as well as in a expressive artistic outlet. There I achieved a 83.2% solo placing rate. As well as achieving two national titles in Modern and Ballet (Classical). I was very involved and still currently participate with this company. The director of this student is Leann Hoffer from Whitehall, PA. I have performed at the Performing Arts Alliance, Lehigh Valley Dance Exchange, Lehigh Valley Music Awards, Musikfest, Excel in Motion, Widener, Wagner, DeSales, and many more.

My senior year of high school I became involved with a contemporary company, Monarch Dance Company, from Northampton, PA. The director is Tabatha Robinson-Scott. Here I found the artistic ability of dance. There is an art behind dance and meaning for every movement that is lost in modern society. I performed with this company at Manhattan Movement and Arts Center, Alvin and Ailey, Broadway Dance Center, Lincoln Memorial, Cedar Crest College, Northampton Community College, Musikfest and many more.
